Alex Gometz
Dr. Alex Gometz founded ESR Physical Therapy (aka Eastside Rehab) in 2001 and opened the doors to patients just a couple of days after the September 11th attacks. His mission was and still is to provide personalized physical therapy and rehabilitation services to the Upper East Side community in a family-owned setting without the bureaucracy of a larger entity. He has enjoyed serving generations of families with diverse needs and stages of life. He has a speciality in vestibular rehab, concussion and sports related injuries and conducts ongoing research with Mt. Sinai's Department of Neurosurgery. He is the co-author of research published in “Clinical Neurology and Neurosurgery,” “The Orthopedic Journal of Sports Medicine” and several other journals. He also founded two other private clinics located near Bryant Park: Prehab and Concussion Management of NY.

James San Pedro
James San Pedro is the senior staff member and Director of ESR who joined the company in its infancy stage. James helped form ESR into one of the premier PT practices in the Upper East Side. He specializes in Orthopedics and has extensive experience with neuromuscular cases. James has also worked with pediatric and adult sports-related injuries and has served as a trainer to one of the exclusive Upper East Side prep schools. He is the schools on-call PT for athletic and wrestling meets. Along with Dr. Gomez, James is assisting in developing the Prehab Method, a groundbreaking process to reduce athletic injury. He lives with his wife and three daughters, who enjoy traveling and cooking.

Saida Trevino
Saida joined ESR from Texas where she practiced physical therapy in different clinical settings with diverse populations. As a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant, she brings a passion for providing quality care and support to the ESR team. Her specialties include: Advanced Therapeutic Modalities Application (e.g., IASTM, traction), Manual Therapy and Joint Mobilization Techniques,Gait Training and Mobility Instruction. Saida enjoys warm weather and a regular routine of weightlifting. She lives in the Upper East Side neighborhood only a few blocks away with her husband, a resident at HSS.
