We are not a chain and are proud to be serving generations of families in the neighborhood since 2001. We are independently owned and operated and take pride in providing the best personalized care from our passionate and experienced team of clinicians. We love getting to know our patients and being part of their recovery journey. Oftentimes we continue working with our patients on personalized strength training programs after recovery to achieve even higher goals.  Our welcoming environment and experienced team have made us a trusted provider in the Upper East Side community for years.

Where are you located?

Our clinic is located at 215 East 73rd Street, between 2nd and 3rd Avenue, in the Upper East Side of Manhattan. We are easily accessible by public transportation and close to the Q train at 72nd Street.

Are you close to public transportation?

Yes. We’re just a short walk from the Q train at 72nd Street and multiple MTA bus lines that run along 2nd and 3rd Avenue.

Is there parking nearby?

Yes. Several parking garages are located within one block of our clinic. Street parking is also available in the area.

Do you offer early morning, evening, or weekend appointments?

We offer extended hours to accommodate busy schedules, including early morning and evening appointments. We are closed on weekends. Contact us to find a time that works for you.

What happens during a typical physical therapy session?

A typical session includes a combination of therapeutic exercises, hands-on manual therapy, pain relief techniques, and patient education. Each visit is designed to reduce discomfort, restore function, and improve your strength and mobility.

Do you provide post-surgical rehabilitation?

Yes. We specialize in rehab following knee, hip, shoulder, and spine surgeries. Our post-surgical physical therapy helps patients recover faster, regain strength, and reduce pain after procedures such as joint replacements, ACL repairs, and rotator cuff surgeries.

Can physical therapy help with chronic pain or arthritis?

Do you accept my insurance?

Do I need a referral from a doctor to start physical therapy?

In most cases, no referral is required to begin physical therapy. However, it’s best to have a referral and some insurance plans may require one. We recommend calling us so we can check your specific plan’s requirements.

Is physical therapy covered by Medicare or supplemental plans?

Yes. Outpatient physical therapy is typically covered by Medicare and many supplemental insurance plans when medically necessary. We can help confirm your coverage and explain any costs.

Do you offer self-pay options?

What should I wear to my appointment?

Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes that allow easy movement. Athletic wear and sneakers are usually best.

What should I bring to my first visit?

Please bring your insurance card, ID, and any relevant prescriptions or medical reports. A completed intake form (if provided in advance) will help speed up your visit.

How long does it take to see results from physical therapy?
